Broadcasting Commission (KPI) sent a second warning letter to the TV station
Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI) related statement of dangdut singer,
Zaskia Gothic dangdut singer, who was accused insulting state symbol on the
program 'Dahsyat' which aired on Tuesday (3/15), according to the KPI
commisioner.

"Although she (Zaskia Gothic) through 'Dahsyat' which aired on Wednesday (16/3) has apologized to the Indonesian people, the KPI warned that insulting and degrading state symbol may be implicated in the threat of imprisonment, and fines are set in Law No. 24/2009 about the Flag, Language, State Symbol and Anthem in Article 68," the KPI commissioner Agatha Lily as reported on the official website of KPI on Thursday (17/3).

Agatha Lily kepada perwakilan RCTI yang dilansir pada laman KPI, Kamis (17/3).

Menurut penjelasan dalam surat
teguran tersebut, pernyataan Zaskia yang melecehkan kehormatan negara terjadi
dalam segmen “Cerdas Cermat Bersama Cecepy”. Pada segmen tersebut terdapat
pertanyaan tanggal Proklamasi dan dijawab oleh Zaskia Gotik “Setelah adzan
subuh… tanggal 32 Agustus.” Selain itu, ketika Zaskia diberi pertanyaan soal
“Apa lambang dari Pancasila, sila ke 5?” dijawab oleh Zaskia Gotik “Bebek
Nungging”.
KPI commissioner Agatha Lily said all answers of Zaskia Gothic was accused
insulting and degrading the honor Indonesia's national symbol, and harassing
the history of the struggle for Indonesian independence.

14, Pasal 21 Ayat (1), dan Pasal 37 dan Standar Program Siaran Komisi Penyiaran
Indonesia Tahun 2012 Pasal 9 Ayat (2), Pasal 15 Ayat (1), Pasal 37 Ayat (4)
huruf a, dan Pasal 54 Ayat (1).
